Senior Software Developer, Program on Sea Level Rise

Dr. Leila Hadj-Chikh serves as Senior Software Developer for Climate Central’s Program on Sea Level Rise. As the lead developer of Climate Central’s Coastal Risk Screening Tool, she helps people visualize how climate change may affect sea levels and coastal flooding in the places that matter to them. With a passion to protect the natural world, she spent many years as a field biologist prior to her career in tech, and still volunteers as a member of the National Aquarium’s Conservation Team. She holds a Ph.D. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Princeton University, a Postbaccalaureate Certificate in Geographic Information Systems from Penn State University, and a B.S. in Biology from Wilkes University.
